The Mexican supper was started as a way to welcome families to Sacred Heart School after the closing of St. Catherine's School. It was such a success that in 1973 the annual fundraiser was born. The first year they estimated between 200 - 300 tacos were served. Now, we make around 7,000 tacos!  Tickets are sold by school families for this event which takes place each October. The meal, consisting of fried tacos, rice, chips, salsa and homemade desserts is a community favorite that Sacred Heart is known for.  Parishioners and school families work together on this important fundraiser to support the Sacred Heart School PTO.
